Treatment explainers
Treatments
Each guide states what the treatment is, the Ministry of Health credential scope a doctor needs to perform it, and what to confirm before a consultation. Nothing here is a recommendation.
An LCP chapter is a credentialing scope, not a quality ranking. Ask to see the physical certificate and check the procedure is inside the doctor’s approved scope.

Before any aesthetic appointment
Three checks come before price. They use official records rather than marketing material, and each one answers a different question.
- Registration. Confirm the doctor is registered with the Malaysian Medical Council and holds a current Annual Practising Certificate for the year of treatment.
- Credentialing scope. Check the doctor’s Letter of Credentialing and Privileging against the exact procedure being offered. A chapter listed for one procedure does not automatically cover another.
- Premises. Confirm the procedure happens at the healthcare premises recorded for the clinic, not at an unlisted address.
Clinic profiles on this site record which of those facts were found, with the source and the date it was checked. Where a fact is missing the profile says so instead of filling the gap. Read the verification method for the full standard, or browse clinics by area once you know what you are looking for.
